Apples & Pears

PALEO, VEGAN, WHOLE30, No added sugar or sweeteners, dairy free, gluten free.
Yield: 2-3 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 large apple (I used Pink Lady) or 2 small*, peeled and sliced into ¼-1/2 inch segments
  • 1 large pear, peeled and sliced
  • 1-2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1.5-2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp fine grain sea salt
  • 3 tbsp coconut butter, melted

Directions:

  1. Melt coconut oil in cast iron skillet over med heat.
  2. Add the apples and cook one minute.
  3. Add the pears.
  4. Sprinkle salt evenly over the top and stir.
  5. Cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon over apples and pears.
  7. Melt coconut butter and drizzle over apples and pears.
