Apples & Pears
PALEO, VEGAN, WHOLE30, No added sugar or sweeteners, dairy free, gluten free.
Yield: 2-3 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 large apple (I used Pink Lady) or 2 small*, peeled and sliced into ¼-1/2 inch segments
- 1 large pear, peeled and sliced
- 1-2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1.5-2 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp fine grain sea salt
- 3 tbsp coconut butter, melted
Directions:
- Melt coconut oil in cast iron skillet over med heat.
- Add the apples and cook one minute.
- Add the pears.
- Sprinkle salt evenly over the top and stir.
- Cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle cinnamon over apples and pears.
- Melt coconut butter and drizzle over apples and pears.
